Located only 8 Km from the city of Carmo de Minas, on the foothills of the Mantiqueira Mountains, Pico Agudo Farm has a privileged natural surrounding, with many water springs and fertile soil, appropriate for specialty coffe growing.

The harvest happens between May and September through a traditional method where the beans are striped from the branches to fall on to a cloth layed on the ground; The riper plots are always harvested first and the beans are immediately transported to the drying station to be processed.

All beans are then methodically sorted to separate the ripest coffee cherries, which are then mechanically pulped and transferred to specific drying patios. The beans dry under the sun until they reach 14% humidity, they are then transferred to mechanical dryers until they reach a final humidity of 11% to ensure a consistent humidity across the entire crop.

Please note: To ensure the freshest coffee, all orders will be roasted on the Thursday after your order has been placed, and shipped on Friday.
