It’s hard to find a decaf coffee that isn’t burnt tasting, brews well of both espresso and drip, and isn’t roasted 3 years ago. But then I found Vinyl Coffee Roasters 78 decaf blend.
Does it wake me up? Absolutely not. Does it make me feel like a productive member of society? Also no. But does it let me enjoy the ritual of coffee without vibrating into another dimension? Yes. Yes, it does.
The flavor? Rich and satisfying, like regular coffee but without the side effects of making poor life decisions at 2 AM. The smell? Like a warm hug from someone who respects your boundaries. The effect? I still feel like a sophisticated adult, just one who won’t be typing at 300 words per minute from an over-caffeinated panic attack.
Would I recommend it? If you love coffee but don’t need the existential crisis that comes with caffeine, this is your holy grail. 10/10 would sip again (just not for the energy boost).
